CB-Type crucible
Application
Use for the distillation of zinc oxide and the smelting of copper alloy, gold, silver and other precious metals, as well as melting alloy and master alloy.
Application Scope
Gas oven, oil oven, coke oven and induction oven
Characteristics
Compare with isopressing crucible, it has better thermal resistance.
Better anti-corrosion property from zinc steam pot.
Better anti-erosion property from strong erosion effect caused by chemical additives during smelting.
Melting point: 900-一1400"C。
Special note:
If users used clay-graphite crucible to distill zinc oxide before, now change to use our CB-type SIC-Graphite crucible, the temperature of flame should be cut down about 50-100℃(according to the exact fact) due to the high speed of thermal conductivity of CB type. Otherwise, the Zinc steam would be volatilized to quickly to be oxidized into zinc oxide completely. It is also workable to use some low calorific value fuel to reduce flame temperature.
